Angelee talks about racism at school (0:48)

I did find it sort of hard. Like, I never really let the colour thing bother me. I think, I did find it hard to adjust though, because, yeah, I was the only dark one there, even though I didn’t let it bother me. But yeah, after a while I did sort of find it lonely. I just don’t want that to sound like racist or anything, but yeah I did sort of find it lonely. The Indigenous students that did come, either didn’t stay long, or when they did come, they were sort of local coloured kids and they really don’t like any outsiders, so I never really made much coloured friends at all, when I went to primary.
